Friction in stacks

Geometry and indentation of weaves

- Shape of tri-axial weaves can be smoothly tuned and predicted by varying the geodesic curvature of their ribbons.

- Optimization of ribbons curvature to map arbitrary 3D shapes.

- Smooth control of the indentation response via the boundary conditions and geometry of the ribbons.
